Suriya Karuppu Financial Crisis: Popular South actor Suriya shared a very major news about the troublesome times he underwent just prior to the release of his block-buster 'Karuppu'. The actor revealed that just before the release of the movie, he was under severe economic stress. This was so that he had to take out an additional loan to be able to release his film on time.
The actor was speaking to a news daily when he said that some financial pressures rose unexpectedly, at the time the film was all set to be released. He said that taking an additional loan was "thebiggestrisk". But through the ordeal, Suriya's wife and renowned actress Jyothika stood by him always.
He mentioned that the film might have suffered to such extent to make life difficult on his family but Jyothika never let his morale fall and always supported the decision he was taking for the benefit of his career. The actor further added that even after years of work in the film industry some situations arise that will be beyond anyone's control.
Jyothika, on her part, credited Suriya for the entire venture of making the movie reach the audience properly and for all his hard work. It was a huge decision that he took to be able to achieve it, as a family we always come together and support each other even if it involves very difficult choices.
It may be mentioned here that although it got late to be released to the theaters, 'Karuppu' was a mega hit and a commercial success at the box office. Suriya's words post this success go to show the great extent to which actors might sometimes struggle for their films with money and emotional well being.
