Details on Sonu Nigam's surgery: Why was he hospitalised?

Although, there has been no official announcement about what specific surgery Sonu Nigam has undergone but the playback singer gave a major health update back in June 2020. In a statement he wrote, "There is a nerve related issues. And this issue causes pain that I feel in the body.

At least this much is being seen.

Have a lot of pain. Took severalMRI &CT Scan, so far everything is being taken with medicines, but what could go wrong and when will it correct, I don't know so far. Compression of the neck nerve is causing discomfort around the throat that is making it heavy, causing problems such as heaviness when talking and swallowing.” It is still uncertain if his current Surgery relates to that medical condition.

Sonu Nigam has a special relation with music

Sonu Nigam, who is recognized for his numerous hit songs including “Kal Ho Naa Ho”, “Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin”, “Suraj Hua Maddham”, “Main Agar Kahoon” and the well-known “Sandese Aate Hain”, recently won National Film Award for best male playback singer.
