No Shahid Rashmika Collaboration in Amit Ravindranath Sharma’s Upcoming Film

Earlier this year, a PR portal claimed that director Amit Ravindranath Sharma was set to collaborate with Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna on a high-concept romantic comedy, with filming scheduled after Shahid’s Farzi 2. Our sources reveal that no such project has been locked, making the earlier buzz nothing more than speculation.

Shahid Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna are not attached to Amit Ravindranath Sharma’s upcoming project. “The only film Shahid and Rashmika are doing together right now is Cocktail 2. While Shahid was approached for this romantic comedy, he wasn’t keen on taking up another rom-com immediately after Cocktail 2, and therefore chose not to even go through the script,” a source revealed.

Rashmika Mandanna was never approached for Amit Ravindranath Sharma’s upcoming film. A source clarified, “The chatter is baseless. Rashmika’s schedule is already packed with feature films for the year ahead, and this project was never even on her table.
