Nora Fatehi recently spoke out after facing online criticism for her message about world peace. The actor and dancer had earlier posted a video on Instagram, asking people to show unity and compassion as tensions rise in the Middle East involving the US, Israel and Iran. She assured fans that she is safe in India but admitted that the constant news of conflict is worrying for many.
Her peace appeal, however, was misunderstood by some social media users, who questioned her involvement in global issues. On March 3, Nora shared another video where she firmly defended her views. She said people should listen carefully before reacting and added that calling for peace is not wrong. “If you have a problem with peace, then something is wrong with you morally,” she stated.
Nora also mentioned how exhausting it feels to see chaos everywhere, especially during her personal reflection before breaking her fast. Despite the backlash, she stood by her belief that promoting peace and unity should never be controversial.
On the work front, Nora was recently seen in Thamma with a special dance number “Dilbar Ki Aankhon Ka” and will next appear in the Kannada action Drama KD The Devil.
