Kiara Bose Roy, daughter of Rohit Roy, set to debut opposite Sajid Nadiadwala’s son Subhan in Aisi Deewangi

Sajid Nadiadwala, a stalwart from a celebrated film family and the third generation to carry forward its cinematic legacy, now sees his son Subhan stepping into the spotlight. Marking his entry as an actor, Subhan began shooting for his debut project in Mumbai during the last week of March. While buzz around the film’s title Aisi Deewangi has been circulating for some time, details about the female lead had remained under wraps. It has now been revealed that Kiara Bose Roy, daughter of Rohit Roy and Manasi Joshi Roy, will star opposite Subhan in this much-anticipated launch.

Kiara Bose Roy, described as both strikingly beautiful and immensely talented, was handpicked by director Shashank Khaitan, who felt she was the perfect fit for the role. The team is confident her performance and screen presence will leave audiences impressed.

As for Aisi Deewangi, the film officially went on floors on March 23 at an under-construction site near DN Nagar, Andheri West, Mumbai. Subhan Nadiadwala, making his debut, was put straight into action—literally. His first day involved a high-octane sequence where he battled nearly 60 trained fighters. According to reports, the director staged a stylized action block to kick off the shoot. While physically demanding, Subhan had been preparing for months to deliver the sequence with conviction.
Adding to the film’s legacy factor, Kiara herself comes from a distinguished cinematic lineage. Her mother, Manasi Joshi Roy, is the daughter of the legendary Gujarati actor, playwright, and director Arvind Joshi, and sister to acclaimed actor Sharman Joshi. With such a rich heritage, Kiara’s entry marks the continuation of a proud third-generation tradition in cinema.
