According to Variety India, Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata will spotlight the tense hours at Mumbai’s Cama and Albless Hospital during the 26/11 attacks. On the night of November 26, 2008, terrorists Ajmal Kasab and Ismail Khan stormed the hospital, killing guards and injuring staff in their attempt to seize control.Despite the chaos, hospital workers displayed remarkable courage. They quickly secured the premises by locking doors and windows, switching off lights, and silencing mobile phones to avoid detection. Patients were discreetly moved to safer areas, as staff continued their efforts to protect lives under extreme uncertainty.
The hospital soon became a focal point of the unfolding tragedy, with a fierce gun battle erupting between the attackers and Mumbai Police in the vicinity, marking it as one of the most critical sites in the early hours of the siege.
