Vijay Kumar claims 100% rights over Hera Pheri 3 amid courtroom battle with Firoz Nadiadwala

The battle over the Hera Pheri franchise has heated up, with Vijay Kumar claiming full ownership of the rights as his legal fight with producer Firoz Nadiadwala continues. Vijay insists the franchise has always belonged to his side, accusing Nadiadwala of making the second film without permission.
He explained that only a one-time remake right was given for the Hindi version, but Nadiadwala went ahead with a sequel without consent. The issue resurfaced when plans for Hera Pheri 3 began, leading Vijay to issue a legal notice and file an intellectual property case.
According to Vijay, the court has already indicated that the rights lie with him, though he accuses the other side of dragging the case with repeated delays.
