In her Instagram caption, Shobhaa De openly shared her concerns about Dhurandhar: The Revenge. She felt the film explained too much, almost like teaching school kids how villains work. She called the dialogues too obvious, filled with clichés, and said the action scenes—like cars blowing up—felt repetitive. She even described the ending as an “anti-climax.”
Still, De admitted the movie kept her attention. In her video review, she said, “I wasn’t bored. It’s four hours long, but I didn’t fall asleep. I enjoyed parts of it, though not as much as the first one.”
Comparing the two films, she felt the original had more depth and suspense, while the sequel was predictable. “I could almost guess what would happen next, which is never good,” she noted.
