Now, buzz suggests that Akshay Kumar’s upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla may also join the list. The team is reportedly reconsidering whether to go ahead with the planned April 10 release or push it back by a week to steer clear of Dhurandhar 2’s storm.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, insiders reveal that the craze around Dhurandhar 2 shows no signs of slowing down. While Bhooth Bangla has its own buzz, the Ranveer Singh starrer is expected to pull strong numbers even in its fourth week — which coincides with the planned April 10 release.
Interestingly, April 17 currently has no major Hindi film lined up, making it a tempting alternative. Yet, some trade voices argue that by the fourth week, Dhurandhar 2 will have already completed most of its run, potentially giving Bhooth Bangla a clearer window if it sticks to April 10.
For now, Akshay Kumar and producer Ekta Kapoor are closely tracking box office trends and are expected to take a final call within the next day.
