Awarapan 2 Box Office: Emraan Hashmi Sets a New Record

Mumbai: Emraan Hashmi’s much-awaited Awarapan 2 has opened to a strong response at the box office. On Day 1, the film reportedly collected around ₹23.40 crore net in India, while its worldwide gross stood at nearly ₹29.61 crore. This also marks the biggest solo opening of Emraan Hashmi’s career so far, surpassing the launch numbers of his earlier films.

Backed by the popularity and nostalgia of the cult favorite Awarapan (2007), the sequel appears to be striking a chord with audiences. With the Independence Day holiday coming up, the film is expected to maintain its solid run at the box office.
