Adivi Sesh calls Anurag Kashyap the king of Hindi dialogues

Actor-director Adivi Sesh, who is preparing for the release of his new film Dacoit, spoke about his experience working with Anurag Kashyap. During the film’s promotions, he told IANS that Kashyap helped him with the Hindi dialogues and praised him as “India’s best Hindi dialogue writer.

Adivi Sesh shared his experience of working with Anurag Kashyap on Dacoit. He said Kashyap constantly surprised him, starting from their very first meeting at his house when they discussed the story. Sesh found Kashyap’s honesty refreshing, noting that most people tend to be diplomatic, but Kashyap was completely unfiltered and genuine.
This openness, he added, inspired him to be his true self as well. Sesh also mentioned that Kashyap helped him with the Hindi dialogues for the film, which made the collaboration even more special.

Adivi Sesh recalled how Anurag Kashyap contributed to Dacoit. He said having “India’s best Hindi dialogue writer” on set was a big advantage, as Kashyap freely offered Hindi lines that lifted the film. Sesh also praised Kashyap’s acting skills, calling him “a very, very good actor.”
He added that Kashyap never interfered with direction during the shoot. But near the end of filming, Kashyap asked for permission to share one suggestion for a scene. Sesh described that one-hour interaction as a masterclass, saying it showed just how extraordinary Kashyap is.
