Mumbai: Indian cricketer and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder Ramandeep Singh has taken the holy vows with TV actress Charlie Chauhan in a traditional Sikh wedding ceremony. The wedding was kept extremely private but the photos and videos are now fast going viral across social media platforms.
Wedding performed as per traditional Sikh rites
Ramandeep Singh and Charlie Chauhan were married at a Gurudwara in front of their families and close friends. From the visuals, Charlie is dressed in traditional attire: red and gold lehnga and complete wedding jewellery including ‘maang tikka’ and ‘chooda and ‘kaleere’.
Meanwhile, Ramandeep Singh is seen in an off-white and gold embroidered Sherwani and a red turban. Their wedding performed as per Sikh traditions with all rituals from Punjabi traditions of Sikh marriage. Videos of bride and groom are being widely shared post the event, in which they can be spotted dancing.

Cricketers visit the wedding event

In addition to close friends and family members, numerous cricketers are reportedly in attendance at Ramandeep and Charlie’s wedding. Young India fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, was seen in attendance as well, with the bowler posting photos of the couple online with his good wishes.

Who is Charlie Chauhan?

Charlie Chauhan is a well-liked and familiar face on the Television screen. She previously competed in MTV Roadies Season 7, followed by her casting in numerous other projects such as Best Friends Forever and Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. She rose to further prominence for playing the part of Mukti Vardhan in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. Also appearing on Nach Baliye and short films and music films.

Ramandeep Singh’s cricketing career

Ramandeep Singh debuted in the India squad on November 13, 2024, as an all-rounder for a T20 against South Africa and has played a couple of matches for India, as well. KKR has signed him as all-rounder in IPL and for which he plays a key role in the line up.
