First Look of Yami Gautam's 'Nayyi Navelli' Revealed; Chilling Avatar as a Bride; Releasing on October 16

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Yami Gautam is again coming to the big screen in a completely different and unheard of look. Her upcoming fantasy family entertainer, 'Nayyi Navelli', has been released with its first look. In the film, Yami is playing a bride suspected by her family of being a witch. This film will be released in theaters on October 16, 2026, on the occasion of Dussehra.

Yami Gautam's Mysterious Avatar as a Bride

The first look of the film shows Yami Gautam as a Hindu bride. While one part of her look is beautiful and innocent, on the other side she is seen in a scary and mysterious role. In the poster she can be seen confronting a demonic presence.

Is Yami's Character a Witch?

The story of the film revolves around a family from Meerut. The life of the family changes in ways they never imagined with the arrival of a beautiful and perfectly arranged bride. At first she brings happiness to the family but soon her brother-in-law suspects that she is not a mere bride but is actually a witch. The film will have elements of fantasy, comedy, adventure, and supernatural phenomena.

Hitting Theaters on October 16

'Nayyi Navelli' is being directed by Balaji Mohan. The story has been written by Himanshu Sharma and Divya Nidhi Sharma, while G.V. Prakash Kumar has given the music.

This film is being jointly presented by Colour Yellow Productions of Anand L.

Rai and Himanshu Sharma and Amazon MGM Studios. The makers have decided to release this film on the occasion of Dussehra festival. 'Nayyi Navelli' will hit theaters on October 16, 2026.
